Draught at the brewery
Dark amber color with creamy head. Nice aroma, with some caramel and spicy yeast note, bread. Good body strength; the mouthfeel is rather dry but soft; good caramel flavor, lightly nutty, with robust bitterness. I wouldn’t notice the wheat.
Well made.

Sampler at brewery. I really like this beer. Weedy hops aroma followed by stronly toasted and lightly burnt malts. Love the malt character, which dominates the flavor and hops fall out. Low bitterness, dry clean finish, as the norm for Standard.

On tap at Standard, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma is very subtle, with soft bready caramel malt. Flavour is very clean, with bready malts, dry toffee, and light toasted nuts. Very solid, with quite a flavourful profile for the style. Very nice.

Draft - Caramel and light cocoa notes. Clear copper with a decent white head. Bitter dry caramel notes with a big pithy dry finish.
