On Tap at Bier:Thirty Deep dark brown with a coarse light tan head. Woody boozy aromas and soft toasted malts. Smooth woody mellow flavors less so Bourbony than the aromas. Nice full robust brown ale.

On tap at white water taphouse bend. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is big bourbon barrel vanilla roast malts coffee. Taste is more of the heavy bourbon barrel vanilla booze and rich malts.

Bottle thanks to Eugene. Pours a clear copper brown with beige head. The aroma is bourbon, fruity malt, wood. Medium mouth, rich malt, cocoa, chocolate, roast finish, good.

Bottle at Georgetown, pours a deep burgundy with a small beige head. Nose is insanely whiskey dominated, with smoky woody whiskey and alcohol. Flavour is much the same - this is all smoky whiskey, with some light caramel sweetness in back. Too much heat here, but fun experiment.

22 oz bottle foiled, and disguised from the usual Georgetown look. Pours a brown color with a thick creamy tan head. Spicy aroma. Flavor is dry and dusty, though the nutty, malty flavor that is really nice. Barrel flavor comes through, though it’s in no way intense. A bit of a woody finish. Enjoyed this beer. Great stuff.
