On tap at Populuxe, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Nose is robust, full of piney and spicy hops, with a dry earthy malt backing. Flavour is well-balanced, with earthy and piney hops, some light spiciness, and just enough bready malt to back. Very well-crafted, finishing dry, spicy and piney. Excellent.

[3/1/15] Draught at Populuxe Brewing in Seattle. Clear copper. Nice fruity hops aroma. Sweetish flavor with chewy malt, fruity hops and a bitterish finish with an alcohol note. Medium-bodied, a bit oily.

Draft pour at the brewery. Pours a copper color with a big bubbly head. Wet malty aroma. Some vegetal flavors throughout. Wet hop finish. Interesting double. Not bad.

Draft - Earthy and vegetive hops. Clear gold with a decent white head. Orange resin and bitter hops. Not enough balance or depth.
