A full-bodied winter treat in the English tradition. This well balanced beer is loaded with rich layers of malt that are first evident in the aromas and follow through on the palate. Savory, toffee-carmel flavors are complemented by just the right amount of bitterness. A full pint of gratitude to Big Time Brewery for letting us use their very unique yeast.

Draft pour pint at Toronado Seattle. Rating #1995. Starting to get to the years that I can actually remember now. I believe I started 1st grade that year. Reddish brown pour with a thick coat of foam head and lace. Mellow malty aroma. Flavor is a dry malt up front, with a creamy finish. Very easy mellow winter warmer. Good flavor. Good beer.

Draft - Caramel and cherry notes. Cloudy copper with almost no head. Chocolate, toasted malts, light cherry and a sweetness. Fruity, rich and nice with hints of Apple.

On tap at Stoup, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted notes and dry bready malts. Flavour bring out toasted nuts, English malts, and dry caramel. Lots of depth to this, with a very dry, English-y malt profile. Delicious.
