Our traditional Belgian Abbey Style Tripel has a complex fruity aroma with hints of pine and herbs. Medium bodied with notes of subtle citrus and pear, a slight perceived sweetness and almost no bitterness make this a dangerously drinkable beer. Hops: Nugget, Tettnanger

Clear pale amber color, small white head. Fruity apricot aroma. Medium-bodied. Flavor is also fruity ... apricot, mango, alcohol. Not very complex, tastes like a good malt liquer :)

Pours hazy dark giolden color with white head. Yeasty and spicy aroma with some fruits. Sweet fruity flavor with some bread dough and spices. Medium body with average carbonation.

Babyfood banana and wheat bread aroma. Crystal clear amber, thin head. A bit watery, especially for the style. Little body. Vague attempts at peach and banana flavor, but it comes across as artificial. Some breadiness. It tastes like someone diluted a mediocre tripel and made it worse. Disjointed, weak, and artificial. On top of that, the alcohol content is a bit magnified. I’m not a huge fan of tripels, but I can tell when it is good or not. Sadly, this one isn’t good at all.

Bomber pours clear copper into thick wide tulip glass supporting an off white head. The aroma offers up pears, apples and spicy yeast notes. The taste is pretty sweet and similar to the nose with ripe red apples mixing with pears as well as some yeasty spices and faint tart apple skin tannins. Into the finish I get a mild level of banana like notes joining in too. This is doesn’t get too sweet.

Bomber from Total Wine in Roseville. Pours orange tinged gold with a large foamy/fizzy/creamy off-white head. Aromas of yeast/spice and light stone fruit - perhaps even a hint of pineapple. Full bodied. Flavor is not so strong as it might be - but there’s definitely fruit and some light spice. Pretty drinkable.

Bottle: A light golden pour with a thin white head. Smells ripe with citrus and cloves. Just a little lemon and yeast. The taste is more fruity than anything, light citrus and apple flavors. A little more lemon and a little less cloves. Yeast is barely noticable.
