Legendary prizefighter Gentleman Jim transformed the sport from a thuggish pastime into a higher scientific artform. So, if you think of your average beer as some knuckledusting, Phillips new ginger creation is a trip to a fine gallery for your tastebuds. Like Gentleman Jim, this spicy copper ale is not a heavy puncher, however it can still put you down for the count, but will graciously shake your hand when you come to.

Bottle - Vintage 2009 - Earthy almost spicy ginger. Clear copper with a decent beige head. Earthy, malty and light spicy ginger. Held up surprisingly well, more earthy and spicy than sweet.
