33 cl bottle @ pre-Sankt Hans Tasting, Ulfborg. BBE 12/2015
Gusher. Aroma is typical to gusher, some hayish notes, sweet-n-ripe fruitiness and some licorice. Flavour has licorice, ash and some coffee. Finishes with warming alcohol.

Bottle. Black with a few big bubbles. Cognac, leather, coffee beans, red wine, dark chocolate, slightly burnt toast. Very sweet and light boozy, feels almost like a very strong red wine. I was a bit worried by the 'no carbonation' sticker, and maybe a bit more would have been nice, this is really not bad at all.

Nice strong imperial stout with a thick mouthfeel of sweetish dark roasted malt. There is some chocolate as well.

Bottle @ Christers. Slight gusher. Pours very dark brown with a fading light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, brown sugar, dark chocolate, alcohol. Flavor is malts, brown sugar, little chocolate and licorice, booze. Medium body, overcarbonated. 030713

Bottle, 10.5%. Very dark brown with big beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, over carbonated, liquorice, medium sweet, little bitter with notes of alcohol.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Black with a big brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and raisin. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 030713

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, licorice, candy sugar, caramel and malt. High carbonation and sweet finish.

Zwart met gigantische bruine kraag, veel te hoog. Het blijft maar omhoog komen Aroma: koffie, drop, chocolade, caramout en gebrande mouten Smaken stevig zoet, bittertje, caramel, Uitstekend bier -extra poging: enorme gusher, en de smaken vielen mij nu wat tegen rating aangepast. --- Beer merged from original tick of Imperial Russian Stout on 24 May 2018 at 15:43 - Score: 7
