In Epalinges, from the sterk, not my best imperial stout, there is a side soily and mineral, rough at the palate, warm alcool, 22.12.18

Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, a little liquorice. Flavour is roasty, chocolate, coffee, a little sweetness. Quite full and well-balanced.I love me a Russian Imperial Stout and this one delivered, especially noticeable because Klein Duimpje has been hit and miss for me in the past.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Opaque black colored brew with an dry bitter taste and a little bit sweet. Hints of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and liqourice.

Bottle at home in Hackney - no idea where I got it. Vintage around 2013-2014. Pours deep brown with a small, foamy beige head. Shows some age but in a tasteful way. Moderately sweet, with notes of rocky road, dried berries, fudge, cocoa, mellow roast, a little milky coffee, earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more rocky road fudge, hints of tobacco. Overall, pretty nice.

Bottle. Black, opague. Pours a huge head. Roast, coffee chocolate and licorice in both aroma and flavor. Fizzy. Sweetish. Malty. Licorice in the aftertaste.

deep dark brown colour, medium sized dense brown head, aroma of dark chocolate, herbal notes, ash, minimal coffee and liqueur; taste of roasted bitterness, syrupy sweetness, some herbal liqueur, maybe smoke, as well; not among the best imperial stouts, but still quite enjoyable

Bottle 330ml. [ As Klein Duimpje Imperial Russian Stout ].ABV: 10.5%. Gusher warning ! Clear dark black color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, wood, riped fruit - riped dried fruit, light alcohol and yeast. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, wood, dark malt, riped dried dark fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20150618]

Bottled@fonefan. Gusher warning. Pitch black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is ripe fruits, alcohol, liuorice, ash, and some toffeeish notes. Flavour is ripe fruits, some raisins, alcohol, and mild ashy notes.
