One of the few adventures in the realm of bottom fermented beers for Birra del Borgo. A mix of American and European hops in dry-hopping (Simcoe, Warrior and Saaz). Stronger in alcohol, hence the Imperial appellation, will surprise you with its intensity, being both explosive and balanced at the same time. A blonde beer with a strong backbone, just like the main character of the novel by Willa Cather from which the beer takes its name.

Tap at Gar Eden. Amber coloured, clear, small off-white head. Aroma is light citrus bitterness, lots of malt, bit of booze. Taste is ok, not so exciting, light bitterness, caramel malty, feels boozier than it is. Nice enough, not so exciting. Bit sweeter with touch of citrus towards end.

Tap at Mels Craft Beer Diner, 11th March 19. Pours a nice looking slightly haze orange beer. Aroma is hoppy, aromatic, citrus. Taste is full, some yeast, floral, citrus and light pine, really nice, could say it's an IPL

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry floral, flowers, weeds, hay, light malts, dried fruits, spices, yeast, hints of citrus. Taste is slightly sweet floral, sugar, weeds, flowers, bark, medicine, sap, medicine, alcohol, paper, citrus peel, spices, yeast. Medium bitterness, slightly dry harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

O.33l bottle, looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Fruity-sharp aroma. Starts malty, modest sweet. Interesting notes of apricot. Not too intense. Finish with a light sourish touch. Really nice!
