The first beer to ever be brewed in Borgorose is still the most loved and appreciated. Inspired by traditional British India Pale Ales it has intense aromas given by American aromatic hops. Amber in color, it has a medium body, the aromas are clearly of citrus fruits and peppery. Carbonation is slightly low as traditional to its style. The mouthfeel leads to a persistent and intense bitterness.

Clear orange beer, lots of very fine sediment floating around, huge creamy yellowish head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of citrus, bit soapy, some ripe fruits, peaches, bit sugary, whiff of biscuit and caramel. MF: quite some carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, bit sugary, citrus, overripe fruits, candied fruit. Aftertaste: bitter touch, grapefruit, other ripe fruits, bit of banana, some citrus, floral, almonds.

750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.4%. Amber colour, large off-white head. Lovely aroma of fruity and floral hops. The fairly sweet flavour has notes of crystal malts, balanced by pleasant fruity and slightly spicy hops. Medium bitter finish.

33cl, BB 02/2014, lot# LS1912. Orangée/cuivrée, quasi pas de col avec juste une fine pellicule beige. Arôme malté caramel en dominance, le tout suivit par une légère amertume houblonnée. Palais reste plus axé sur la malt, ce dernier laisse pointer pas mal de caramel/crystal et qcq notes de chocolat. Le tout est accompagné d’un houblon qui ajoute en amertume mais reste plus discret. Retrouve ce style houblons nobles/allemands/anglais qui titille le palais laissant une pointe de citron. Le tout est sec avec un avantage sur les grains au fini.

Pours amber with a massive head that just keeps growing.Very floral, spicy and plant-like aroma, interesting hop profile. Underneath is soft bready malt.Similar hops as flavours (spicy, plant-like) with faint clean malt underneath. The hop dominate though. Some alcohol shows too. Quite sharp.Carbonation is too high.

Very hazy amber beer. Little white head. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Creamy malt, dry grapefruit orange hops cut through. Minerals. Mildly bitter dry finish. A tad overdry but an all right beer.

Really a lot of gunk/floaties in this one. Aroma is nice. Tropical fruit, especially passion fruit Flavour has a nice mix; fruity, malty then hoppy in the finish.

Bottle, 12C. Hazy amber with an off-white head that lasts pretty well. Citrus and caramel/ butterscotch aroma.Soft mouthfeel with low carbonation- very nice. Sweet with some peach as well as somewhat buttery caramel before firm bitterness. Lingering grapefruit.
