The first beer to ever be brewed in Borgorose is still the most loved and appreciated. Inspired by traditional British India Pale Ales it has intense aromas given by American aromatic hops. Amber in color, it has a medium body, the aromas are clearly of citrus fruits and peppery. Carbonation is slightly low as traditional to its style. The mouthfeel leads to a persistent and intense bitterness.

Bottle, 12C. Hazy amber with an off-white head that lasts pretty well. Citrus and caramel/ butterscotch aroma.Soft mouthfeel with low carbonation- very nice. Sweet with some peach as well as somewhat buttery caramel before firm bitterness. Lingering grapefruit.

100ml sample from tap at Bir&Fud. Spotty lacing to the glass from a filmy layer. Clear amber coloured body. Resin-like hops to the nose with hints of caramel malts. Malty sweetness in flavour balanced by fresh and dried fruity hops. Dry bitter ending with a malty twist. Likable (Roma, 30.03.2012).

Bottle at Taste Firenze. Rounded malt flavor, nice rich body. Nice hops, like tobacco, grass. Good caramel malt, not too sweet. A good, clean APA with great body.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Daganโ€™s place. Thanks troubles. Hazy orange. Aroma of fruity hops and a bit of malt. Sweetish flavor with a bit of slightly honey-ish malt, continues bitter and hoppy with some citric notes. Medium-bodied. Alright.

Very delicate in flavor and aroma. Citrus, light grapefruit, sweet toasted caramel malt. Mildly earthy, too. Medium body with carbonation that fools you, at first, into thinking htere is a crisp hop finish. There isnโ€™t. Tโ€™was OK.

Bottle in Domus Birrae, Rome. Pours a dark, cloudy golden-brown with a white, foam head. Full hop aroma, though subtly subdued in a way, with notes of earth, grass and pine. Has a light to medium sweet flavor, mild honey and caramel, medium to strong bitterness, sticky and resinous, freshly cut grass, dank hay, some citrus rind. Medium to full in body with average carbonation. Warm, warm finish, sticky hops, more grass and resin, background malts. Good stuff.
