The first beer to ever be brewed in Borgorose is still the most loved and appreciated. Inspired by traditional British India Pale Ales it has intense aromas given by American aromatic hops. Amber in color, it has a medium body, the aromas are clearly of citrus fruits and peppery. Carbonation is slightly low as traditional to its style. The mouthfeel leads to a persistent and intense bitterness.

330ml bottle. Opaque, amber colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, lemon tea. Taste is bitter hoppy, fruity and slightly citrusy, notes of grapefruit, lemon tea with a leafy touch, hints of honeydew melon. Nice.

Murky amber to brown, medium, lasting off-white head, sparkling. Very aromatic, dry fruits, toasty, biscuit, candy. Bitter kick, malty flavors, sweet with some alcohol present. Medium to full body, dry hoppy finish. Very good, a classic example.

33cl bottle. Muddy copper with an off-white head. Smells like caramel, dried fruit, orange juice, bourbon, vanilla and all sorts of good stuff. The taste follows the same notes, citrus bitter and caramel sweet, slightly dank aftertaste.

Bottled at the Craft Beer festival in Zagreb. Full golden body with a small white head. Lovely aroma, mild, fruity white wine with honey and orange. Taste... heavy honey, maltiness with a pretty soft finish. medium to low bitterness - yeah, this is definitely and English IPA. Notes of pollen, herbs in the finish, almost no aftertaste. Nice!

Can't get over how fresh it was. Whoever is importing it to the UK is doing a stunning job. Bottle at the brewpub One Mile End.

(bottle, 33cl) Almost cloudy, deep amber colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Juicy fruity and piney fruity hoppy aroma with notes of pineapples, strawberries and grapefruit, but also traces of cat piss/urine cake. Moderately bitter and mildly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Dry-ish malt character with hints of toffee with drying piney and mildly fruity hops; bitter and mildly sweet piney/resiny hoppy finish. 19.II.16
