Townsite’s brewmaster made 60Kg of candi sugar by bringing sugar and water up to 300 degrees and then added this sugar to the boil creating a winter warmer that is spicy and plummy in flavour.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark mahogany color with small creamy head. The aroma is mild, dark caramel, some chocolate dust. The body is quite strong; it has a strong flavor of dark caramel, moderate spicy touch, roasted nuts; it also has too much bitterness in the end and some metallic character.
Unrefined.
