Nice bottle: just what the doctor ordered! Jet black with a dark tan head. Finely porous head: appears stable. Lovely nose: dark milky sugary coffee, cocoa, blackcurrant cordial. Taste doesn't pack quite the same punch. Coffee and cocoa, some vanilla. Nice lingering finish. Not very thick and oily. Very good.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Opaque black colored brew with an slightly sweet bitter taste, hints of roasted malts, some coffee and the sweet lactose.

Lots of sharp roast here, nice cream. Bottle says vanilla, I don't get much of that though. Black pour with great mocha head. Good lacing. Bittet finish. Bottle.

(Bottle, 0.5l, from Alko, 202311234) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, ash, vanilla and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, ashy and bitter. Nice.

500ml bottle. Pours opaque black with a small light brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt and notes of liquorice. Taste is light sweet, coffee, roasted malt, liquorice, ash. Medium bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Really black sporting a with a huge dark beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, espresso, dark chocolate, red fruits and a whiff of vanilla. Taste of dark chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, dried fruits, mousse au chocolate, vanilla and espresso. Strong long lasting roasty bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Velvety mouthfeel. Slightly boozy but still very balanced. Marvelous.
