Creamy brown head left a spotty cover on a jet black still body - looks amazing! Malt, liquorice & nutty aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated on the front with s creamy back & tingle down the throat. Roasted, malt, nutty, demerara, lactose & stone fruit tastes with a tangy, lightly hopped finish.

Appearance is black, with a 1-finger brown head. Aroma- coffee, toffee, chocolate, liquorice, dark malts, chocolate biscuit. Taste- coffee, dark chocolate, dark toasty malt, toffee hints, creamy malt, more chocolate, bitter roasty finish.

Bottle. Pours a black with a light brown medium dense head. Aromas of chalk, bittersweet chocolate, some dark sweet fruits. Taste is pretty roasted, dark chocolate and sweet fruits. Slight coffee and licorice. Pretty boring stout to be honest.

Opague. Chocolate, cream, cacao and mocha in the almost fat aroma. Full bodied and bittersweet, like pure chocolate. Creamy and voloptuous. Hints of Christmas pudding. What a great beer!

looks like a cask handle, but if so, it must be motorized so might be tap, i am not sure. Carbonation is VERY moderate. at hennie's platania, crete. pitch dark, smooth light brown head. aroma of roaste malts, charchoal, chocolate. flavor is roasted malts, chocolate, honey syrup, faint raisins, faint licorice, lovely and complex. velvety palate. really good stuff.
