Deep brown, good beige head. Aroma: roasted malts, caramel, coffee, cream. Similar taste. Semisweet. Medium body. Soft palate. Light spicy hoppiness. Rather good.

Bottle from systembolaget. Nice little burnt brown foam that disappears. Initial tastes of camp fire air, macadamia nuts, slight vodka hit at times. Tasty; I think it would make a good cask ale, so looking forward to having it again hopefully at the fabulous Jerusalem tavern. Manages the balance of bitter and sweet nicely and provides the tastes of an imperial without the tongue scraping bitterness. Decent. (13/2/17) ---- Bottle from Systembolaget, thanks to Felishas parents. Aroma is quite undetectable. Generic smell of winter. Decent enough look. Interesting smoked taste that lingers for some time. Can see why some would go wild for this beer but not exactly my style. Nice all the same. 3.4 to 3.2. (8/8/22) ---- Bottle from Systembolaget. May have been a gift I'm not sure. Nice dark colour. 3.2 to 3.4.

500 ml bottle into imperial pint glass, bottled on 11/2/2015. Pours crystal clear nearly opaque dark brown color with a small dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, light smoke/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, slight dark fruit, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, light smoke/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, slight dark fruit, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/spicy hop and roast bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, herbal, light smoke, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slight dryness from roast/hop bitterness as well. Light carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an outstanding English style cream stout! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Spot on English malt complexity, with an awesome mouthfeel. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Just about black. Ring of tan head. Nose has chocolate coated toffee. Fudgy malts. Some ash. Charred wood. Taste is woody bitter, with a little cocoa sweetness. Smooth mouthfeel. Maybe a tad thin. Charred wood finish. Very nice.

500ml bottle. Almost black with a two finger brown head, dissipating quickly. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and some dark fruit, bit of liquorice too I think. Taste of dark chocolate, liquorice, dark fruit, alcohol. Creamy mouthfeel, though it borders on being a little thin. Great stout.
