The original Cisk Lager Beer is a golden-coloured, bottom-fermented lager with a distinctive and well-balanced character. Its rich hop aroma and pleasant bitterness has made it the natural choice and thirst quencher for beer drinkers who want to savour the original brew which has remained faithful to its recipe of 1929.
Recipient of a number of international awards since its launch in 1929, Cisk Lager Beer is popular any time of the year and consumed across the Maltese Islands, holding a strong presence at Malta’s traditional social band clubs, known as ”kazini”. On a hot summer day, it is best enjoyed chilled by the sea with friends. Just add a barbecue banquet or a selection of fresh shellfish and Cisk will be the perfect companion.

Gulbrun klar med lavt hvitt skum som forsvinner fort. Sitron, malt og kornlukt. Lett syrlig søt sitron og malt. Kort, medium kullsyre.

Maltese standard lager with creamy, off-white, sticky, not too stable head and brightly golden colour with calm sparkling. Malt sweetness in the nose, white bread, freshly cut grass, white pepper, young cheese. Taste neutral, like mineral water, slowly becoming very lightly malty, dryish, some grassy hops in the finish but not lasting long. Not that memorable but still just a little bit different from other Euro-lagers.

Draught. Pours clear pale golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with touches of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of not-so-good malt and hints of citrus. Estery and rather bitter aftertaste. Nothing special but not bad for a pale lager.

Clear golden color, small white head. Corn and cardboard in the nose. Light-bodied, active carbonation. Light herbal and corn flavor. Light veggie notes. Typical industrial "tropical lager".

Flaske (takk til Elisabeth!), delt med Ovesen: fint skum som gir seg raskt, klar lys farge. Lite aroma, lite smak (lett syrlig og snev av humle) og ettersmaken er nærmest ikke-eksisterende. Sikkert forfriskende på Malta i 30 grader.

Clear pale golden. Short, white head. Aroma of straw, dry hay and artificial sweeteners. Short, but almost ok taste. Equally short aftertaste. Low bitterness. A slighty unfresh Eurolager.
