On tap at St. Augustine’s at Irish Caskival. Dry hopped with Vic secret option. Pours a very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, roasted malt, pleasant one. Taste is slightly sweet and sour, fruity, roasted malt and hoppy bitterness. Roasted malt, dark fruits aftertaste. Good one.

Draught at the brewpub
Black color with creamy brownish head. Creamy aroma of roasted malts. The mouthfeel is very smooth, is there some nitro? Roasted malt and dark chocolate flavor, off-dry; a trace of cardboard, slightly too roasty in the final, but with a light interesting coffee trace. Nice.

On tap at Yaletown, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small creamy tan head. Aroma is fairly bland, with oats and light sweetness. Flavour is similar but more pronounced, with oats, roast, dry cocoa and a touch of sweetness. Medium-bodied, with all the flavours in pretty good unison. Good beer.

Draft - Lots of roast and chocolate. Deep jet black brown with a very rich light brown head. Roast and bittersweet chocolate. Chocolate notes well into the finish with the bitterness. A rich bitter chocolate bomb.
