33 cl bottle at the lovely Cocktails at 9 terrace, Antwerp. Pours dark brown (almost black) with reddish highlights. Mocha-colored head is abundant and lasts quite a while. Aroma is low but nice: blackberry, licorice, chicory. Mouthfeel is fizzy, creamy, bittersweet and very long-lasting.

Il gusto al naso viene catturato da liquirizia, pane nero, cioccolato e alcolico. L'intensità olfattiva è molto elevata e la continuità olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma color marrone chiaro resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. La carbonazione è bassa. Il perlage si attesta su bollicine fini. Anche al piano inferiore la carbonazione è bassa. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di pronta beva. Il finale è dissetante, complesso e un po' ruvido. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. L'aroma in bocca riporta sentori di caramello, miele, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, fiori e alcol presente.

Pours almost completely black, topped with medium small beige ehad. Vanilla in the front, with some chocolate following. A bit of fruits later on. Plums and black currant. Sweet start, a bit chocolatey with some warming alcohol present. A bit yeasty feel in the finish with medium bitterness. Medium body, silky texture.

Flesje gekregen. Diep donkerbruin helder bier met grof schuim. Aroma is fruitig en caramelachtig. Smaak van caramel, drop en fruit. Jammer dat de smaak snel wegebt.

Zwart bier met bruin schuim. Smaak is krachtig, zoet en licht bitter met iets van koffie, chocolade en stroop. Best goed.

Bottle from Honza Lucky Bastard. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of dark malt, roasted malt, sherry, peat. Nice chocolate taste with coffee, caramel, vanilla, alcohol. Tasty.
