Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy golden color with small creamy head. Very nice aroma, fruity, fresh, peachy, a bit funky. Highly carbonated; the malt flavor is a bit meh, it’s a bit salty, with high bitterness and some astringency, also light acidity.
Strange.

12 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours an opaque cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is very dirty, with loads of yeast, white wine barrels, and quite a bit of perfume. Flavour is quite lovely and bizarre, with florally perfumey notes, white wine barrels, and dirty yeast. On paper, it sounds more like a disaster, but it's all quite cohesive. Very nice, though a bit rough.

Bottle - Juicy sweet tropical fruits, mandarin and grapefruit. Hazy dark gold with a decent white head. Mandarin, orange peel, tropical fruit and bit of resinous bitterness. Nice and juicy, smells remarkable.

Bouteille 341ml.

Hazy dark orange with a large white head with great retention and lots of lace. Nose is citrus, pine resin and a significant woody fruit contribution from the wine barrel, including pear, green apple, and grape. Light sweet malt start leading to a bitter and tart middle and finish with a lot of complexity. Mouth is medium slick with active carbonation and a lingering tart finish. Lots of interesting layers.
