Bottle online from Beerhouseshop.be. Pours a very dark brown colour with a thick creamy beige head. Aromas of dry dark fruits, caramel, chocolate with hints of candy and brown sugar. Taste has more dry dark fruits, plums, chocolate, caramel, toasty bread, roasted malts, spice and just a little sweetness on the finish. Medium body, fairly lively fizz on the palate and a slightly oily mouthfeel. Nicely balanced. Better than average dubbel. Nice beer

Pours a clear dark brown with a large light brown head. Light sweet aroma of malt, caramel. Light body, slick texture & intense carbonation.

0,33 bottle. Under a huge beige foam lurked a reddish-brown beer. The head remained throughout. Restrained sweet caramel scent while the head is on it (it was on all the way :). Well-hit carbonation, roasted, raisin flavor, yet you can feel the hops, in addition to the wine notes, it also feels bitter. Complex, well-put together beer. Dried fruity, bittersweet finish. A highly recommended piece, it was a perfect Christmas Eve gift, thank you :) One of the most pleasant disappointments of times gone by!

Hatalmas bézs hab alatt egy vörösesbarna sör lapult. A hab mindvégig megmaradt. Visszafogott édeskés karamelles illat, amíg a hab rajta van ( végig rajta volt :) . Jól eltalált szénsavasság, pörkölt, mazsolás ízvilág, mégis érezni a komlót is, a boros jegyek mellett azért keserű is érződik. Komplex, jól összerakott sör. Aszalt gyümölcsös, keserédes lecsengés. Kiemelten ajánlott darab, tökéletes karácsony esti ajándék volt, köszönöm :) Elmult idők egyik legkellemesebb csalódása!

Bottle. Clear dark brown with a decent white head Aroma of yeast, malts, sugar, caramel with hints of citrus fruits, cherries and raisins. Taste follows aroma plus dark bread, and gingerbread without the spices. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Ok.

Draught at Le Faucon, Brussels. Dark red brown colour with small white bubbly creamy beige head. Aroma is creamy and a bit malty. Taste is smooth and more creamy. Bit of malt and lots of banoffee pie. Touch of chocolate too. No bitterness at all really. Nice sweet finish. Can't help but quite like this. Pretty good dubbel.

Black colour with ruby reflexes, small head. Aroma is not very intensive, with figs, dark chocolate, raisin. Light bitterness. Lively carbonation, too high. Not very interesting.
