On tap at Ashley’s. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has acidic and sour apricot with light grains backing. Flavor has a good amount of grain and earthy tart apricot plus some bread.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, 2015 vintage bottling. Listed as 7.25%. Pours very hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy apricot, sour lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, green apple, pear, white grape, honey, candi sugar, light white wine vinegar, hay, straw, funk, pepper, light leather, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of apricots, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big juicy apricot, sour lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, green apple, pear, white grape, honey, candi sugar, light white wine vinegar, hay, straw, funk, pepper, light leather, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of fruity/acidic tartness and earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of apricot, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, green apple, light vinegar, honey, hay, straw, funk, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity. robustness, and balance of apricots, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate malt sweetness; with a great malt/acidic/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/acidic, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent fruited sour ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of apricots, fruity/funky/spicy yeast, and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced acidity. A very enjoyable offering.

Draft - Sweet jammy apricot and marmalade. Cloudy orange with almost no head. Tart apricot and marmalade with a sour finish. Not bad.
