Get ready to bask in the glory of the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the citrus accents from the abundance of dry hopping. This one’s sweet, yet balanced. Malty undertones shake hands with the hop character for a finish that never turns too bitter.

Bought locally, canned April 30th.
Pours a clear deep gold/amber with a finger of foam with good retention and lacing.
Smell is grapefruit citrus, bit of grass, toasted malt, but the hops dominate.
Taste is grapefruit citrus in a big way(called Centennial for a reason), a little bit of grass, some toasted malt, light sweetness, very nice level of bitterness.
Medium bodied, I bought a 15pack for $16.95, which is great value! Yes, more in my future.

Drinking this beer in 2015 or 2016, finding it at the bootlegger, Paris, not remembering this ipa but it was a good one and rather an old school ipa with a generous resinous note and a good bitterness

Bottle. Man this is actually one of the better IPAs I have had lately and I have had a lot. The aroma is the usual IPA smell with the grapefruit, pine etc. The taste is what sets it apart. It has all the IPA taste without burying the malt. It has a certain amount of sweetness to go with the bitter. Complex and tasty.

Sample from bottle at Vectura-messe. Orange colour. Aroma of crystal malts and orangey American hops. Sharp hoppy flavour throughout. Not particularly impressed by this one. Rerate, at Cardinal: More impressed now, distinctly hoppy, good beer.

Gorgeous copper pour, big frothy sticky, off white/yellow/tinged orange head.
Lovely fresh, green hop aroma. Big citrus, juicy, with hints of pine and a bit surprising noticeable dose of malt.
Soft carb, medium mouth feel. Pungent bitter finish, loads of citrus, and more pine. Unbelievably well balanced and the 7.2% is very well hidden. World class.

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is bready malt, fruity hops, strong citrus, orange, pine resin, mild caramel with a touch of grapefruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Firm citrussy and piney hops, lots of orange with a sturdy caramel malt backbone, good bittersweet flavour. Lovely IPA.
