Get ready to bask in the glory of the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the citrus accents from the abundance of dry hopping. This one’s sweet, yet balanced. Malty undertones shake hands with the hop character for a finish that never turns too bitter.

Pours a pretty hazy, borderline murky amber with a medium to big soapy white head; quite good retention, lots of lacing. Quite good intensity in a relatively simple aroma: a very light caramelly, maybe slightly biscuity base; strong, decently fresh, slightly jam-like citric notes (tangerine most prominent), quite vivid resinous/piney notes. Taste notes follow the aroma pretty closely, with the slightest prickly/spicy hint. Quite good freshness, ok but not excellent definition. Medium bodied, average to high carbonation, pretty lively with a hint of fullness to it (kind of modern ipa/slightly juicy fullness), but still quite easy to drink. Perhaps slightly modernized recently? Doesn't feel like a classic american ipa; still not a fully modern hazy/juicy but something in between. Overall not bad at all and quite enjoyable, but doesn't shine.

I have a 16 oz can found at a Dallas Total Wine I believe. Crack the top as recommended on the label and make the pour. The view is a dark gold-orange body finished by a decent top of almost white foam. The smell is blessedly hops heavy with a bit of fruit. I take a good drink and confirm the taste follows the scent mostly. Cedar, citrus, nectarines, grain and malt. Bitter and sweet, a good combo in a throwback IPA. Tolerably all right, better than the bulk of the hazy beers seen these days.
