Get ready to bask in the glory of the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the citrus accents from the abundance of dry hopping. This one’s sweet, yet balanced. Malty undertones shake hands with the hop character for a finish that never turns too bitter.

can. Clear copper colored pour with a big sudsy off-white head that has decent retention. The aroma is mixed citrus, with pineapple, grapefruit and papaya. The taste is mostly grapefruit, with some lemons, papaya and something soapy(?). The palate is full and satisfying. Finishes long with lingering bitter citrus and a trace of caramel. Overall: decent IPA

Can from Albert Heijn. Hazy amber, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of pine resin & needle, grapefruit peel, pink grapefruit, biscuit, mango, pomegrenate, grape. Taste has sweetish mango, grape & blood orange over biscuity, slightly caramelly maltiness; quite bitter in the middle with notes of grapefruit, pine & herbs. Dry, bitter, piney & resinous hoppy finish, lingering grapefruit peel & (blood) orange. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Very satisfying old-school IPA.

355 ml can, brewed in March 2021. Cloudy amber, big foamy head. Mostly caramel and resin, maple syrup, grapefruit zest. Malty sweetness, hoppy bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, hoppy bitter malty sweet finish. Not bad, seems to be a bit off.

330ml bottle from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy dark amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, piney hops and resin. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a rich, wet oily hop, light sweet toffee caramel, light citrus fruit, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Over medium bodied with average carbonation.
