Bottle via Beer Republic. 2022, 10,2% ABV. Med-full body, medium carbonation. High bitterness, pretty high hoppiness, grassy, resiny, piney. Medium sweetness and medium alco warmth. Quite intense overall, yet nuanced, easy sipping. Lots of chocolatey maltiness, toffeeish caramelly maltiness and dried fruits, raisins, light prunes. Very good.

Bottle shared@Beer Ditch, Malmö, Sweden (18/11/2022) - (2021 vintage) dark brown with a tan head. Sweet and toasted malty with layers of toffee and caramel, dried fruit shred, brown sugar, medium body, spices running through into the malty finish. Nice.

Creamy tan head on a murky brown body. Fruity, hoppy & malt aroma. Full bodied, light over the tongue with a sticky end. Malt, sweet, caramel, berry, syrup & jam tastes with a big boozy pine & resinous finish. Tastes like a Lees Harvest Ale or Fullers Vintage - same style I presume. That's a great complex beer - not for the faint hearted.

30 May 2022. Bottle from Beer Republic. Vintage 2021. Clear dark brown, thin, tan head. Aroma of dried fig, date, oxidized apple, pear syrup, port, burnt caramel, wet wood, leather. Taste has sweet oxidized apple, pear & raisin in a caramelly malt body, somewhat brown-sugary with herbal & spicy notes. Herbal hoppy finish, dry woody & leathery, lingering dried fruit and warming port-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Expected it to be fuller but there's a fine subtle complexity to it.
