31/08/2018 - draught 25cl glass @Café Bonjour, Oudenaarde. Clear amber, nice white head. Nose is malts, fruits, bit caramel. Taste is sweet malty, bit fruit, caramel, bit bitterness. Not a bad beer but there's no way you could consider this as an IPA, more a "modern" style tripel.

8/VII/18 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Cybu's jam BBQ - BB: n/a, brewed: 16/IV/18 (that is, less than three months old) (2018-826)
Clear orange beer, big solid creamy yellowish head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malty start, caramel, slightly fruity, bit metallic, orange peel, hay. Where's my damn hops? I want to smell that Cascade and Simcoe, but I'm not getting anything here. And you can't blame the age, it's less than 3 months old. So, I guess they use as much hops in their ipa's as Leffe... MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet, caramel, malty, soft bitterness, banana peel. Aftertaste: candied orange peel, malty, way to sweet and sugary. By no means is this an ipa...
