Draft - Rich smoke and dark malts. Clear mahogany with a beige head. Bacony sweetness, with a nice malt bill. Gets a bit cloying as you go through, but still decent.

Tap at the brewery - clear amber - must like their smoked golden, this is a fairly simplistic beer that seems designed to allow the cherrywood smoke to be showcased - the problem is that the cherrywood smoke lacks the heartiness, depth, and complexity of beechwood or oak, so the beer just turns out kind of boring - a little sweet, a little bitter, a little smoky - that’s it - not bad, just bland.
