On tap @ Station 26. Pours a dark orange appearance with a white head. Smarties, orange candy, papaya, tangerine fruity aroma with some spicy notes. Chewy candy flavor. Some caramel, thick sugar, citrusy hops. Goopy. Not my thing.

Draft - Super dark sweet caramel. Clear copper with a decent head. Really sweet caramel a bit of herbal hops and a light bittersweet finish. Very malts, almost too much as you lose the hops.

Tap at the brewery - clear gold with a soapy lace - oh snap - this is definitely what one looks for in a double ipa - nose is a complex explosion of grass, citrus, sage, pineapple - malts are sweet, but lean and clean, just serving as a base for the intense citrus, wood, and herbal notes of the hops - rosemary, pine, grapefruit, mango - alcohol is a little hot as it warms, but not too overbearing - however, it does make this fall just below a 4 for me.
