Tulip at the brewery - new batch - hazy gold pour - nose is lightly tart, with notes of oak, white wine, coconut, vermouth, light whiskey, light buggy funk - interesting - creamy texture, medium dry - moderate grassiness, light pepper, moderate bitterness - mild whiskey and moderate vermouth, some milde minerality, white grape, pear - a lot going on, and it doesn’t quite all come together, sadly - the bitterness and minerality definitely clash with the various barrel treatment - not bad, just trying too hard.

22oz bottle shared by RiversideAK. Cloudy blonde. This beer is cool, its not sweet, its not estry. Great start. Then its not alcohol or barrel heavy, which is amazing for the convoluted barrel aging. Finally its got an original aroma and flavor, which my best guess is like vermouth but I have no idea what vermouth tastes like.

Sample at the taproom. Clear golden color with a medium foamy white head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of oak, yeast and fruit. Medium-bodied with an oaky character and flavors of fruity yeast, wheat and vanilla. The finish is oaky vanilla and fruit. Pretty good overall.

Draft - Big raw oak notes, with nice sweet fruity notes. Clear gold with a thin white head. Sweet oaky, vanilla and fruity with a light yeast profile. Lots of sweet wood which goes well with the nose.
