Location: Draft at Flying Saucer - Houston, 5/14/14
Aroma: The nose is caramel and bready malts with some hop notes as well
Appearance: It pours a reddish-orange color with a beige head and average lace
Flavor: The flavor is okay, balanced between malts and hops, but just average overall
Palate: The body is medium, it has a decent mouthfeel, but nothing great
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty average/unremarkable, and at the same time, it is still a decent beer. It is perfectly drinkable, just doesn't have anything to get it up to that next level.

Draft - Sweet leafy candy hops with a malty caramel backbone. Caramel, resinous bitterness and a sweet finish. Although it has the sweetness, the malts aren’t rounding this out nicely. Drinks more like an IPA.
