Named for White Rock Lake and the cyclists who loop it, Rock Ryder is a refreshing, crowd-pleasing, session beer. But just because it’s easy drinking doesn’t mean it’s got training wheels.

With peppery notes from rye malt, a rocky head and a dry finish, our American Rye Wheat pulls ahead of the pack. Sit back and enjoy the Ryde.

Has a faint nutty grain aroma. Appearance is decent light copper body with little head. Flavour is soft wheat notes and a hint of hazelnut. A bit soft on the mouth. It’s neither here nor there.

Bottle - Wheat, lemon, grass and a slight skunky bitterness. Clearish gold with a rich bubbly white head. Wheat, grass and some light refreshing bitterness. Rye adds some nice spice that makes it a bit more interesting. I think this is a nice refreshing beer with some unusual but decent flavors.

Bottle from Rosebud Butternuts. Pours hazy light orange with a slight off-white head. Light rye notes in the aroma. Med body or nearly. Flavor is lemony with some hot bits. Dryer than not. Better than many wheats.

Bottle thanks to Bruce. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with medium frothy off white head that lasts awhile leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong citrus lemon zest. Thin mouthfeel with crisp citrus and wheat flavor. Easy to drink crisp finish. A very good wheat ale from Lakewood.
