On tap at the brewery pours out copper amber color topped with a sand head. Nose is nice sweet caramel malts some pine hops. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts caramel touch pine citrus hops.

On tap at the beer garden. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice bitter pine with a some sweet bread and grains supporting. Flavor has has slightly sharp pine with some sweet grains and a touch of bread in the finish.

Served at the Austin brewery in a flight of companion brews. An attractive light amber-red with a thin white to tan foam. Good first impression with spices, firm push of malt. I detect a touch of cough drop, not a complaint, and a hint of alcohol at the end. This was the favorite in our group.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy amber with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is resin and pine. Medium body, pine, toasted grain, bitter finish, good.

Draft - Sweet caramel and floral hops. Cloudy brown with a thin head. Perfumy hops and a bitterness balanced by caramel. Bitterness is a bit prevalent and perfume follows. Caramel and sweetness would have balanced better.
