Jet Fresh Hops
Wet hop beers are only brewed once a year immediately after the annual hop harvest in late summer or early fall. This is unique because the fresh hops are a very delicate ingredient and once the hops are picked from the vine they have to be in our brew house as soon as possible in order to prevent them from spoiling. In fact, we start brewing Anthea while the hops are still in the air on their way to Calgary. The result? A seasonal brew that just might be the freshest-tasting beer we’ve ever made.
Available in 650ml bomber bottles in Alberta and British Columbia.
Little Known Fact
We wanted to keep this year’s Anthea Wet Hop Ale as natural as possible. So, our 2014 release of Anthea is unfiltered for a rich, full flavour, which also gives the beer a slight veil.

650mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Nose brings out fresh piney hops and some biscuity malt to back. Flavour is very subtle and fresh, with wet piney hops, some biscuity notes and more pine. Pretty restrained and uninteresting, but refreshing and drinkable. Decent.

Bottle - Lemongrass and resin. Clear cold with a rich white head. Very mellow flavors, with some resin and lemon and a light malt backbone. Very little bitterness and alcohol is non existent. Aroma and appearance rock, but everything else just falls down and is very plain.
