Draft - Coffee and sweet chocolate, like chocolate covered beans. Jet black with a minimal tan head. Very dry and little alcohol despite its high ABV. The intense infusion does give it an interesting character vs the typical Bourbon aged barrels, much more pronounced and distinct flavors. The vanilla offers some sweetness although I don’t quite get vanilla and the roasted notes from the beer blend well with the infustion. The robustness is really nice as it isn’t too sweet and Bourbon is held in check. I would be very pleased if they continued this experiment.
