South of heaven lives the black magic, the seasons in abyss. All hail the Black IPA. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, but Chingas is back with a black tooth grin and an appetite for destruction. So here comes the pain. Grapefruit dipped in pine blasted chocolate. Pilsner base with oats, rye and wheat to anchor the light roast & chocolate. Hopped to death with Columbus, Mosaic and Simcoe. Sip into darkness.

Draft at The Bar on 22 (NJ Wine Seller), 3/27/23. Murky, almost dirty looking brown pour, tab head, strong lace. Earth, pine, and grass over some roasty and mildly bunt malt notes. Solidly dry. Very nice flavor profile overall. Tasty beer.

Pine and some roast. Jet brown black with a decent light brown head. Soft roast and pine. Too soft and not aggressive enough for me.
