Bottle: Dark, cloudy brown with a dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate, raisin, molasses. Sweet and slightly smoky raisin malt, chocolate malt, caramel malt. A twinge of alcohol warmth. Great body......and a great sipper.

Bottle. Raisin, molasses, chocolate malt, alcohol, and hay aroma. Dark brown with slight brown head. Very sweet fig/raisin, molasses/chocolate malt, and moderately bitter alcohol and dry hay flavor. Mild alcohol burn in the finish. Nice body and balance. Very nice.

Sample at the 6th Annual Craft Beer Festival by The Community Tap on 04/21/2018. The beer is a clear brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of dark fruit, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of earthy yeast, dark fruit and caramel malt. The finish is fruity yeast and malt. Above average overall.
