330ml bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with small to average, sudsy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Mellow malty and fruity hoppy aroma, minimally earthy, leafy hints of red berries, raspberry, red currant, a citrusy touch. Taste is mellow malty and fruity hoppy, notes of red berries with a leafy and earthy touch, raspberry, red currant, a touch of cherry. Smooth and soft palate. Very well balanced, harmonious and clean.

Bottle from Waitrose. Clear amber body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of earth, rust, toast and vine tomato. Flavour of stewed tea and red berries. Medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. Beautifully balanced - a beer I would happily drink again and again.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, off-white head. Nose is very neutral, slightly toffeeish perhaps. Medium body, sweet caramel accents, toffee again, very nutty leading up to a fairly bitter finish. Is there a slight tartness as well? But good stuff indeed. 220618

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Mørk gylden. Høyt luftig skum som daler veldig sakte. Nydelig kninlingslacing. Pent! Aroma av malt & karamell. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken sammensatt. Mye tørket frukt. Nydelige maltinnslag. Balansert. Tørr ettersmak.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A lasting off-white head over a deep and clear golden-brown body. Crocheted lacing down the glass. Moderate aroma of leafy hops and caramel. Well balanced taste of bread, caramel malts and resinous hops. Bittersweet tail. Gentle and smooth, old school ESB. (Tromsø 10.06.2018).

Bottle at KØ18. Fruity aroma, mild light caramel. Shiny copper colour. Small white head. The flavour has a good spicy hop note. Distinct, but not too much. Mild caramelly note as well. Well-balanced.

33cl bottle from Alko. Bbe 31/12/19. The beer poured deep amber in color. Thick white head. Grass, nutty, caramel, toffee aroma. Nutty, mild spicy, dry woody hoppy flavors. Dry, bitter finish. Pretty tasty.
