Tap at Bishops Arms Örnsköldsvik. Tasted just like normal ESB to be honest don't see the diff. Rerated at Bishops Östersund. 3.1 to 3..3. Re-rated on tap at captain cook. Kept same.

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Earthy and slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of grassy, herbal hops, lemon peel and a whiff of caramel. Rounded bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly toasted and earthy malt character with nutty notes, caramel and an ethereally touch, backed by spicy and slightly grassy hops, lingering into the balanced and lasting finish. Very complex brew. 10.V.18

Draught @ Old Bank, Turku. Aroma has lots of sweet toffee, some English hops and biscuits. Also fruits. Flavour has toffee, English hops and some biscuity malt. Finishes with mild menthol tones. Usually I am not a friend of these hoppy British ales but this isn't half bad.

Bottle from systembolaget. Pours brown amber. Aroma of caramel malt, rye and floral hops. Bitter at first, the rather sweet, knäckebröd, citrus and floral hops. I see why the recipe have been refined...

Pours cledar amber-coppery colur, topped with a thinner and nonlasting tan head. Gentle malty nose, some sweet caramle and biscuity notes, but very midl, and some sweet fruity touch (peach). Medium bitterness with a pleasant and gentle fruity finish, slightly sweet. Herbal hoppy aftertaste. Medium body. Actually a very decent ESB.

(Keg at Solmu Pub, 29180429) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, earth, toffee and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were earth, grass, toffee, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had earth, malts and bitterness. A pleasant balanced brew with earthy hops.
