shared at a tasting, small creamy bubbly head, clear dark gold to copper color, aroma of grain, barnyard, caramel and a hint of lemon behind, flavor of caramel with fruit, wood and lemon, extremely mellow medium bitterness. Very nicely balanced and highly enjoyable, an excellent take on a classic.

0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before December 2019. Clear, dark reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, quite herbal-grassy and slightly fruity aroma of tea leaves, spruce, dried fruits and some caramel. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly bitter, rather herbal-grassy and slightly fruity taste of tea leaves, orange jam, dried fruits, caramel and some spruce, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather dry, quite herbal-grassy finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really nice, classic English Ale!
