A good pour and a rather gorgeous deep bronze colour in the glass. There was a definite aroma of sweetness. The taste was sweet malts balanced against bitter hops, but with an unexpected emphasis on the sweetness. There was definitely some caramel too. The mouthfeel was super smooth and the beer slipped down a treat. A very good beer.

330ml bottle; part of the six different Fuller's colabs we shared on 30th Jan 2018 at the Shrewsbury beer exchange meeting in Chez Sophie. Golden amber body, weak white head. Malty front to both the nose and taste, malty molasses rule the flavour with the hops just about containing the caramel sweetness that prevails. My sweet tooth liked this.

330ml bottle. Clear amber/copper colour with a small long-lasting off-white head. Malty aroma with citrusy and grassy hops. Taste is malty, caramel, toffee, light toasted malt, mild spice, zesty fruity citrus hops give it a nice bitterness. Light-medium bodied, fine carbonation, oily texture. Great example of a beer style I've never been a big fan of, I actually quite enjoyed this one.

Bottle picked up in Waitrose Oxford Circus. It pours clear deep red - brown with a small white head. The aroma is rich, juicy, orange peel, blood orange, red berry, toffee, brown bread, toasted nut, earth and wood . The taste is dry, decent hit of bitterness, oily, resinous, wood, zesty, blood orange, pink grapefruit, marmalade, toasted nut, spice, leather, alcohol kick and earl grey tea with a dry and woody finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Rich and complex. Nice depth of flavour. Rather nice stuff and the best of the series so far for me.
