Growler: Nearly black with a soapy beige head. Chocolate, tobacco aroma. Taste is chocolate malt with a touch of molasses and anise. Some weedy/grassy bittering. Feels a bit watery and washed out..... OK.

Draft. Molasses, chocolate malt, ash, and fresh hay aroma. Black with large brown head. Moderately sweet chocolate malt, and moderately bitter/astringent green hay flavor. Body light for the style.

On tap at Akasha, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bready malt and some oats. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt and light oat. Not a whole lot of depth, but it's pleasant enough.
