Draft. Brown body with short off-white head. Aroma of sweet toffee, grain, hint of mustiness. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, moderate to lively carbonation. Missing musty, basement, earthy, dark fruit characteristics of better dubbels. A raw graininess pushes aside any sweet, candy flavors. Light astringency in finish. Clunky.
