American porter. Great beer, which is definitely not just for ladies. Sweet tones of coconut and vanilla complement the otherwise bitter beer with tones of roasting and chocolate.

Porter w/ Coconut & Vanilla, 13°, 4,7% ABV

Light and well drinkable porter with creamy white foam. Its sweet aroma of coconut and vanilla is complemented by a dry, pleasantly bitter finish with a hint of roasting and chocolate. Coco is loved by ladies, but gentlemen also enjoy it, thanks to a perfectly balanced sweetness and bitterness. Designed to drink all day.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Pours black with nice dense tan head. Quite roasted, malty, lots of cocoa, milk chocolate, vanilla. Sweet with bitter finish. Medium bodied. Bit one sided, lacks complexity.

Tap at Craft Room. Pitch black, beige, tiny head. Caramel and mild cocoa aroma. Not getting clear vanilla or coconut but it’s fine. Nice mouthfeel, lovely even, with a bitterish coffee like taste vague cocoa, but only trace vanilla and no coconut. Prickly carbonation in the finish, dry bitter weak cocoa aftertaste. Solid, but doesn’t deliver what it promises so the score goes down.

Tap at the Illegal Bar. Quite simple, not exactly the king of intensity. Assertive coconut, roasted malts, slightly sourish. Quite a good one and easily drinkable, slightly lacking complexity, but okay interesting beer.
