Can: Clear, amber-red-orange with a craggy light tan head. Bready rye, caramel aroma. Taste is soft, almost creamy caramel malt, rye malt....herbal bittering. Pretty good.....a nice increasing rye spiciness.

Can. Perfumy hops aroma. Big thickish mouth coating ipa flavors up front. Borders on imperial ipa fer sure, wew. Seems like much more than the 7% listed here. Difficult personality, not sure if I can finish this can. What else can be said. Not impressed by its terrible on style performance. Probably should be listed as a rye ale.

On draught at Woodlands Tavern. The beer pours a reddish-amber color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, rye and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of spicy hops, grainy malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is moderately bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
