Canned August 19th.
It pours a really dark brown with another monster head of foam. Off white going on tannish.
It smells kinda artificial to me. Okay, coconut water must different attributes than a beer brewed with coconut. I have to take deep whiffs to get any of the coffee.
There's definitely some added coffee in the taste. The coconut is much more sublime. Could be a good thing.
Mouthfeel is pretty good.
Interesting but not interesting enough to have again.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 8/6/2019. Pours crystal clear very dark reddish brown color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roasted coffee, coconut, vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, char, wood, pepper, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/black/bready malts, coffee, coconut water, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with big strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roasted coffee, coconut, vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, char, wood, pepper, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal, woody, grassy, peppery, roast, charred bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roasted coffee, coconut, vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, dark bread/crust, molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, char, wood, pepper, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/black/bready malts, coffee, coconut water, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with an awesome roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an excellent session American coffee stout. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/black/bready malts, coffee, coconut water, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/charred/drying finish. Great soft feel, very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome balance of nicely rich malts, fruity/nutty coffee, and coconut water flavors; with nice earthy hop presence/balance, and restrained fruity yeast. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressively spot on style example. One of the best gluten reduced beers I have had.

Coconut, coffee, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Dark brown with large brown head. Mildly sweet toasted coconut, coffee, chocolate malt, and dry hay flavor. Very light body. Decent.
