As a young man in Switzerland, Sigmund Luscher learned to make pilsners in the Bohemian style first crafted in the city of Plzen in 1842. His beer philosophy, if you will, was one of simplicity — a heritage we’ve tried to honor by crafting a flagship beer that doesn’t require a PhD in hops and barley to enjoy.
You may call it a crisp, refreshing pilsner made to be enjoyed in good company. We simply call it a “Sig.”

12 ounce can from Total Wine Lexington Green, 9/26/22. New brewery! Brewery #2110, USA #1713, Kentucky #20. Slightly hazy gold, large white head, average retention. Aroma of bready malt, floral hop. Taste is white bread, lemon, floral hop. Could be crisper. Decent pils.

From a 12 oz can. Pours a clear gold with a thick white head. Aromas of rice cakes. Flavors are slightly bitter with sweet maltiness. Just ok.

Butterscotch, biscuit malt, and hay aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet butterscotch, biscuit malt, and lightly bitter hay flavor. Good body. Smooth - sweet for a pils but nice and easy drinking.
