Lemon, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet wheat malt, and lightly bitter straw flavor. Okay body. Straight forward wheat ale.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours very hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense, rocky, and creamy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts the whole glass. Thick foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, apple, citrus zest, wheat, cracker, and biscuit; with light notes of honey, banana, bubblegum, clove, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/light spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, apple, citrus zest, wheat, cracker, and biscuit; with light notes of honey, banana, bubblegum, clove, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/floral/grassy bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, pear, apple, citrus zest, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light banana/bubblegum, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with an awesome malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, moderately crisp, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.8%. Overall this is a fantastic American pale wheat ale! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mildly bitter/spicy finish. Amazingly flavorful for the ABV. Great balance between American wheat yeast and biscuity malt character; with just enough bitter hops for sweetness balance. A highly enjoyable offering, and one of the best in the style I have had that is not overly hoppy.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light wheat with grass and some light fruits underlying. Flavor has sweet wheat and light fruits throughout with a bit of flora underlying.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a pale/hazy burnt orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Mild stringy lace.
The aroma weaves light sweet pulpy orange into a sweet wheaty base. Low bitterness.
The flavor takes the orange and the sweet wheat to combine nicely. Wheat doesn’t bite in aftertaste or finish but comes across smoothly balancing with the orange nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a clenching grip of the wheat on my tongue. Low to medium carbonation.
Overall, nice APWA with a bit more body to it than some others of it’s style. Still, a nice thirst quencher and crushable.
