I’ve had one tequila barrel beer I can remember where there were distinct notes from the agave barrel. A good beer and A bit of fruit from the tequila barrels. Not much else there.

Bottle. Tequila, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Dark brown with moderate brown head. Moderately sweet tequila, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter herbal hay/alcohol flavor. Body a bit light. Not particularly a combination I enjoy.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with beige head that lasts. The aroma is wood, agave, cocoa. Medium body, roast, cocoa, tequila is very subtle, really enjoyed this.
