Growler: Black with a dark brown head. Slightly burned chocolate aroma. Taste is bitter chocolate malt, oats, ash. Fairly bitter, overall.....with a touch of alcohol at the finish....slightly oily body-feel. OK, but a little harsh.

Draft. Chocolate, oat malt, ash, and dry hay aroma. Black with large brown head. Moderately sweet chocolate, oatmeal, malt, and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Good body. Moderate boozy finish. Nice.
